Home Groups

Home Groups are a core part of our ministry at Cross Plains Christian Church. If you are new, this is the first place we hope you will visit to get connected with a small group of people. Jesus walked daily with a small group of 12 men, and the early church met in homes. We believe meeting in small groups in homes is a timeless method to build strong relationships and support one another.

Home Groups are a casual setting, and our weekly goals for each Home Group are simple:

Eat a meal together.

Get to know each other and develop strong relationships.

Pray together.

Study the Bible together through a simple method called “Storying.”

Our Home Groups are also encouraged to help meet each other’s needs and to serve in the local community. Everyone meets together for a Worship Celebration on Sunday Mornings, but Home Groups are the heart of our church. Ultimately, our mission is to make disciples of Jesus, and we believe Home Groups open up the door for disciple-making relationships to form.
