Discipleship

The key to the Christian life is discipleship. The final command Jesus offers to to his followers was for them to go out and make disciples of all nations (See Matthew 28). By the power of God at work within us through the Holy Spirit, there is no limit to what God can and will do through us! 

We can't strive to be a church who makes disciples who make disciples IF we aren't crystal clear on what Jesus meant when he used the word disciple. 

The leadership of Cross Plains Christian Church searched the Bible and formulated the following definition of the word disciple: A disciple loves God & others (Mark 12), bears fruit (John 15), & equips others for service (Ephesians 4).
